Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

 

  1. Why must I enter details for every ticket I add to the cart?
    Every ticket purchased must have the correct email ID and details of each individual attendee linked to it.
    The attendee will receive OTP on their email ID.

 

  1. Can I enter my email ID when buying the ticket for my colleagues?
    No. Since each ticket is linked to a unique email ID and phone number, and the OTP to join the event will be sent to that ID, you must enter the email ID of the person you are buying the ticket for.

    When the attendee visits the virtual platform on the main Conference day, an OTP will be sent to the email ID linked to their ticket for verification. Their details and ticket ID are verified upon submitting this OTP and only then will they be admitted into the platform.

 

  1. What must I do to purchase multiple tickets of the SAME category?
    To purchase multiple tickets of the same ticket type/category:

→ Enter the details of each individual you wish to purchase a ticket for (on the same page!) 

→ Click submit after each individual entry 

→ Watch the quantity in your cart increase with each submission!

NOTE: You need not ‘Go Back’ to select the same ticket again.
 

  1. How do I purchase multiple tickets of DIFFERENT categories?
    To purchase multiple tickets of different ticket types/categories, you must click on the ‘Continue Shopping’ button after submitting an entry for each ticket purchased. Upon clicking the ‘Continue Shopping’ button, you will be taken back to the list of Conference tickets that you can choose from. Continue the same procedure to add multiple tickets.
     

  2. Why is my cart not getting updated even after I click ‘Add to Cart’?
    After selecting your ticket by clicking on ‘Add to Cart’, you will be redirected to a page that will display the selected ticket you wish to purchase and will ask you to fill in the details of the attendee who you wish to purchase the ticket for (if the ticket is for yourself, you will be entering your details in the fields). Only once these details have been entered and you click on submit, will your purchase be registered and your cart will be updated accordingly.
     

  3. Is it necessary to submit an email ID and number?
    Entering the correct email ID is extremely important. The OTP to enter the virtual platform on the Conference day will be sent to your mail ID. If your email ID is incorrect, you will not receive the login details and you will not be able to attend the event. RISE Conference tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed in exchange for any vouchers or credit.
     

  4. Is it necessary to submit a work email ID?
    Any email ID that is currently functional and is being used by you, is acceptable while submitting details for your ticket. A confirmation email with all your ticket details (ticket ID, ticket category, name, contact number) will be sent to this email ID and hence this must be correctly entered. It need not necessarily be your work email ID; you may use your personal email id.
     

  5. Why is it necessary to submit the correct Name? Can I use a preferred name?
    The First Name, Last Name, and pronoun entered while submitting the ticket details are the name and pronouns that will be visible to others on the virtual platform on the main Conference day. Any name that you wish to be referred to by others, i.e. even a preferred name, can be entered here. Although, while entering the Billing Details, all fields must be entered as per the details that should be recorded on the tax invoice against your purchase.
     

  6. Why are billing details required? Why can’t we go to the payment option directly?
    Billing details are required to generate an invoice to document your payment towards the purchase of your ticket for RISE Conference 2022. In order to generate an accurate invoice, please enter the correct billing details that you wish to record on this invoice.
    In case of a payment by an organisation or agency, the organisation/agency name can be added in the ‘Full Name’ field to declare that the purchase is billed in their name.
     

  7. What should I do in case I enter my details incorrectly?
    In case your details have been incorrectly entered, please drop us an email at contact@thepridecircle.com stating your query, your correct details, your ticket ID and/or your transaction ID, before 4th July 2022.
     

  8. What if I change my mind and want to return my pass? How can I get a refund?
    RISE Conference tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed in exchange for any vouchers or credit.
     

  9. In case my transaction fails, and I do not receive my pass but money is deducted, whom should I approach for a refund or to complete my purchase?
