Deputy Manager - Accounting & Taxation

JOB PURPOSE: This role will lead Balance sheet controls & Direct Taxation of K&B India Commercial business.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for Balance Sheet Control & Shared services Management

Balance sheet control through monthly and quarterly reviews.

• Detail analysis of AP, AR, Fixed assets, Inventory & Cash & Bank Balance. Ensuring clearing within defined aged.
• Detail analysis of DPO/DSO & Inventory turns and drive initiative to improve cash conversion cycle.
• Ensuring compliance with Global accounting Policy.
• Coordination with Shared Services to ensure proper cost center accounting.
• Responsible for liasoning with Auditors and ensuring that Statutory and Tax Audits are completed within the given statutory timelines.

Direct Taxation

• Lead the taxation compliances with respect to Direct taxation.
• Monthly TDS & TCS calculation working verification & Payments
• Filling of Quarterly TDS/TCS Returns
• Quarterly calculation of Advance tax
• Preparing Schedules for Statutory Audit 26 AS Reco, Advance tax Listing
• Tax Package FY'23
• Issuance of Forms 16A & Form 27D & shared to vendors & customers.
• Tax Audit

Automation & Process Improvements

• Deliver Automation projects.
• Developing and implementing financial policies & Procedures for better management of Global shared services
• Driving improvements projects with Plant like inventory Management, Asset Management etc.
• Driving Balance sheet improvement projects with GSS.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Required experience of 4-6 years of a related profile in multinational environment.
• CA/ICWA
• SAP experience is a must.
• Experience of handling Big 4 auditors.
