Accounting Analyst - Global Reporting

JOB PURPOSE: Under direct supervision, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial reports to increase effectiveness and global reporting standardization. Requires a strong accounting knowledge base with an aptitude for IT systems.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Responsible for transitioning financial reports from current systems to the SAP-BW/Crystal solution.

• Using the Bex tool, design, develop, test and maintain the queries necessary to write existing reports.
• Work with IT, Corporate Accounting, and specific business for which the reports are being developed to ensure valid, reliable reporting.
• Using the SAP-BW/Crystal solution, develop, test and maintain the formatted reports used in the monthly financial statement books.
• Ensure that Kohler policies/procedures are followed.
• Document specification and end user functionality of reporting system.
• Develop training materials and conduct training of reporting system.

2. Responsible for maintenance of financial reporting systems

• Perform upgrades/enhancements of reporting platforms.
• Ensure changes to financial requirements are properly reflected in reporting systems.
• Continue to enhance the reporting capabilities with additional analysis reports/tools.
• Ensure training materials are up to date and accurate. Conduct training of new associates.

3. Responsible for maintaining consistency between SAP and reporting systems.

• Requires an understanding of SAP and the relationship between SAP and the reporting systems queries/reports.
• Ensure changes to financial requirements are properly reflected in both SAP and reporting systems.

4. Develop new reports to assist management.

5. Assist in other accounting projects as assigned.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting or Finance.
